Our Tour Terms & Conditions

Our tours are designed to provide you with a fantastic experience, with visits to the best of Belgium’s breweries and beer festivals and an opportunity to make new friendships. However, it is important that you read and understand the following terms and conditions regarding your booking. Please pay special attention to our Covid protocols.

Your booking confirmation accepts these terms and conditions and limits any liability attributed to AleHunters Brewery Tours.

Age requirements

Due to the nature of the tours and locations we visit, we’ll only be able to accept guests who are aged 18 or over.

What’s included

Transport including collection from and return to West London, transit between all brewery and festival visits and our booked accommodation. Any additional transport not organised via AleHunters is at your cost.

The cost of your hotel room, including breakfast. Accommodation is provided in twin/double rooms with en suite facilities. Passengers who are travelling alone and have their own room will be required to pay a single supplement. It may be possible for solo passengers to share a room with another passenger, subject to availability.

All entry fees for arranged brewery tours and associated tastings, and all entry fees to beer festivals.

What’s not included

All meals other than breakfast or those included within the tour itinerary. All other costs not included above.

Sometimes circumstances will dictate that a brewery or festival may not be in a position to accept visitors. Any changes made due to brewery availability will be communicated prior to departure. A final itinerary will be issued prior to departure.

Payments

AleHunters requires 50% of the full tour price to secure your booking, although the full price can be paid at the same time. Any outstanding balance will be due six weeks prior to departure in order to maintain your place on the tour. Cancellations notified by passengers within six weeks before departure will not be subject to refund.

Should a passenger be late for our departure from or return to London and required to arrange their own subsequent travel, miss a tour departure, or decide to withdraw from part of the itinerary, they will not be entitled to any refund from AleHunters Brewery Tours.

Miscellaneous

Sometimes circumstances will require that itineraries will need to be change due to factors beyond our control. Any such changes will be notified as soon as is possible.

Luggage limitations: Passengers are advised that luggage is limited to one case measuring 23 x 36 x 56cm plus a carry on bag/backpack per person. Luggage space is limited.

Any cancellations made by AleHunters Brewery Tours will result in a 100% refund of all monies to passengers except where caused by Force Majeure (please refer to below).

GDPR

Following an assessment with the Information Commissioner’s Office we are allowed to gather personal information solely for the administration of your event and we do not share this information with third parties.

Please ensure that you have a negative lateral flow test within 24 hours prior to joining the group and have your Covid pass for travel ready for inspection. Please ensure that you maintain government-recommended social distancing at all times. Avoid shaking hands and making physical contact with others.

Please wear a mask between venues and while not tasting your beers. Apply rigorous hygiene practises, wash your hands thoroughly between venues and santise your hands regularly.

Please follow site-specific Covid-19 requirements of each venue that you visit.

To support test and trace all contact details will be retained for 21 days following your tour.

AleHunters will not be held liable should anyone receive a positive Covid result following attendance of one of our tours.

Force Majeure

Any event beyond the control of AleHunters Brewery Tours, which prevents our complying our obligations under the tour itinerary including but not limited to:

1. Acts of God (such as, but not limited to, fires, explosions, earthquakes, drought, tidal waves and floods);

2. War, hostilities (whether war be declared or not), invasion, act of foreign enemies, mobilisation, requisition, or embargo;

3. Rebellion, revolution, insurrection, or military or usurped power, or civil war;

4. Contamination by radio-activity from any nuclear fuel, or from any nuclear waste from the combustion of nuclear fuel, radio-active toxic explosive, or other hazardous properties of any explosive nuclear assembly or nuclear component of such assembly;

5. Riot, commotion, strikes, go slows, lock outs or disorder, unless solely restricted to employees of the Supplier or of his Subcontractors; or

6. Acts or threats of terrorism.

AleHunters will not be held liable for any delays or last minute change in accommodation.

Passengers need to ensure that they hold a valid passport with at least six months’ validity and, where applicable, an appropriate ID or visa. Passengers are also advised to hold up to date travel insurance and a European Health Insurance Card (if eligible). Passengers are also reminded to take care over their personal belongings as AleHunters Brewery Tours will not be held liable for loss or damage to any personal belongings.

Please be advised that many breweries will expect you to wear appropriate footwear when visiting, which would need to be flat and enclosed. Passengers wearing flip flops may be refused entry. Any special needs and mobility limitations need to be advised prior to booking. Please highlight any special needs or health issues when making your booking enquiry via the form provided. We will do all that we can to accommodate any requests. Many of the breweries are old, spread over a number of floors and have many stairs. Passengers are to be responsible for their own Health and Safety and be mindful of the Health and Safety of their fellow passengers.  

Solo travellers will be expected to pay a single room supplement. However, there are sometimes instances where solo travellers request to share with a stranger. We will try to accommodate such requests but cannot guarantee that this is possible.

Code of Conduct

No smoking is allowed when travelling, taking brewery tours, in bars and cafes and in beer festivals. Please respect your fellow travellers and remember that smoking has an adverse effect on your taste buds.

Tasting beer when visiting a brewery or beer festival is considered appropriate, over-indulgence is not. Unacceptable, abusive or threatening behaviour, or any activity that poses a threat to other passengers’ health and welfare, or that of the general public, may result in the offending passenger being removed from the tour with no compensation or refund.

Please be advised that we do not accept stag or hen parties.
